During her residency, Namibian multidisciplinary artist Vitjitua Ndjiharine will engage with material objects in the Hans Schinz collection in the Völkerkundemuseum Zürich that belonged to her family in the 19th century, raising questions about archival representation and cultural repatriation.

Mbali Dhlamini | Residency

South African artist Mbali Dhlamini has been selected for the Art & Stories residency programme at Embassy of Foreign Artists in Geneva. She is interested in studying the archives from Swiss missionaries that where sent to South Africa to establish churches, and plans to stage interventions with the archive through Imilindelo (Zulu for vigils).
