Daniel Maposa is the founder and Director of Savanna Trust, a theatre organisation that uses theatre for social change in Harare, Zimbabwe.
He is also the festival Director of the Protest Arts International Festival in Harare. Daniel has worked in the arts industry for the past 25 years as an actor, arts management trainer, play director and producer.
Over the past five years, he has been working and collaborating with some of South African’s leading theatre and dance artists with the aim of enhancing SADC cross border collaborations that would result in opening of artistic markets in the region. Of late, his focus is in arts management and research in the arts.
In 2016, Daniel Maposa completed his Masters in Arts and Culture Management at the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. His research project was focused on Sustainability of Not-for Profit arts Organisations. Mr. Maposa is also a Board Member of the Twist Theatre Development Projects, Durban.
