Flying Bantu Ceasefire Roadshow tour February-March 2020

The 5 piece Afro-Fusion band Flying Bantu will embark on the cross-country Ceasefire Roadshow tour of South Africa, Botswana and Mozambique where they’ll be performing a number of shows  at popular live music venues and festivals across the three countries to promote their debut album Ceasefire.

Hailing from Zimbabwe, Flying Bantu’s versatile sound embodies various flavours and boldly expresses an Afro-Fusion mix of rock, reggae, funk and jazz.

The tour will start in Cape Town in February 2020 where the band will spend 6 weeks playing at many of the city’s most esteemed live music venues, starting with the popular music festival Up The Creek on 7 February, with 9 follow-up shows collaborating with a small handful of other well-known artists in the city.

From mid-March 2020, the band will make its way north with a show in Johannesburg before entering Botswana to play shows in Gaborone, Francistown & Maun respectively. In early April after a short break, the band will then re-enter South Africa, but this time towards Durban to play at the legendary SA music festival Splashy Fen on 10 April, where the band will be appearing for its second year in a row, with additional shows in Durban and Pietermaritzburg.

The band will then make its way up South Africa’s east coast to Mozambique to play a show in Maputo, before commencing the journey back home to Zimbabwe through South Africa, with additional shows planned along the way.
