Call for Applications: Summer Academy Paul Klee 2019/20

Summer academy Paul Klee invites artists, curators, and art writers to join its 2019/2020 program under the supervision of the curator Tirdad Zolghadr.

The academy launches its work on August 3, 2019 and proposes a 16-month long program united by one theme. Over the stated period, participants work on their projects and two times visit Bern to take part in public lectures and close-door seminars. The goal of the Academy is to unite artists around a pressing theme and in the result of ongoing discussion create the projects, which conceptualize the key issues of the contemporary culture, society and art.

Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia supports successful candidates from the regions of its liaison offices presence including Egypt, India, China, Southern Africa and Russia.

Applications should be submitted via the website of Summer Academy. Application deadline is 25 January 2019. More details.
