Call for applications: Artists-in-labs South African-Swiss Residency Exchange 2018

Pro Helvetia Johannesburg is pleased to again partner with the Artists in Labs unit at ZHDK, in the wake of the very successful residency of Miranda Moss at the Federal Institute for Snow, Forest and Landscape Studies in 2017.

We call on South African and Swiss artists to submit projects for consideration for a three-month residency in scientific and creative research at one of the following two science institutes:

for Swiss artists: the South African Astronomical Observatory (SAAO) at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and Sutherland, South Africa
for South African artists: the Astronomy Department, University of Geneva (UNIGE) in Geneva/Versoix, Switzerland,

The residency will run from September – November 2018.
